Nowadays, healthcare applications are strongly associated with developments in high technology. By following revolutionary developments in information-communication technologies (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI), today’s healthcare devices are known as smart systems, which are capable of sensing and processing the data in embedded system architectures. As combined under the umbrella of Internet of Thing (IoT), wearables are among the related smart systems and they have a remarkable role on supporting personal and public healthcare. Because wearables have flexible physical attributes and ensure AI-based, computational software, they have been widely used by people for diagnostics and monitoring purposes. These purposes lead to wide networks in which medical staff, doctors, and many other actors take place to enhance the roles of wearables in healthcare problems. As the humanity is approaching through the end of the first quarter of 21^st century, wearables expose high potential in shaping the future of healthcare for individuals and societies. So, it is a need to understand current state of wearables in healthcare and derive future perspectives by examining the latest research efforts.

The theme of the 6th EAI International Conference on Wearables in Healthcare (EAI HealthWear 2025) is based on the extensive role of wearables in advancing healthcare applications. In this context, the event has a wide scope of research related to not only wearables but also associated technologies such as IoT, sensors, network infrastructure, and cloud systems. Moreover, the EAI HealthWear 2025 also aims to evaluate the state in terms of cyber security, data privacy, usability and any additional cases connected to the evolution of wearables in healthcare. As the mission of the EAI HealthWear series, the event welcomes international audience to share their latest research outcomes and contribute to the active discussion venue targeting academicians, researchers, degree student groups, and professionals/experts around the world. All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer – LNICST series and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library: HealthWear Conference Proceedings.

Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, Google Scholar, IO-Port, MathSciNet, Inspec, and Zentralblatt MATH.

HOW TO WRITE GOOD ALT TEXT

Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).

• Regular papers should be up to 12-15+ pages in length.
• Short papers should be 6-11 pages in length.

All conference papers undergo a thorough peer review process prior to the final decision and publication. This process is facilitated by experts in the Technical Program Committee during a dedicated conference period. Standard peer review is enhanced by EAI Community Review which allows EAI members to bid to review specific papers. All review assignments are ultimately decided by the responsible Technical Program Committee Members while the Technical Program Committee Chair is responsible for the final acceptance selection.
